Rhino Steel Superior Construction Features

[1] Portal Frame Connector Plates.
Rhino portal ridge and knee connector brackets are pressed from thick zinc galvanised steel and are fixed through pre-punched holes with high tensile bolts to ensure the strongest possible connection.
[2] Purlins and Girts
Rhino purlins and girts (the members that the roofing and wall cladding are fixed to) are fixed to the sides of the portal frame using high performance Tech-screws and bolts.

This method of fixing is not only strong but it means that you have more usable space inside your building.

[3] Hold Down Brackets
These are slotted for ease of fixing to both the portal leg and to the concrete slab.
[4] Roof Lights
Fitted as standard on all buildings, 2 per Bay allowing extra natural light into your building.
[5] Roof Pitch
Rhino buildings have a standard 11 degree pitch roof which is not only strong but is aesthetically pleasing. Other pitches are available.
[6] Roof and Wall Cladding
Rhino’s roof and wall cladding is roll formed from high tensile steel. Your roof and wall cladding are galvanised with a 200 micron plasticol coating in a wide range of colours. This method ensures a life expectancy of over 40 years.
[7] Gutters & Barges
Rhino gutters and barges are roll formed in a unique profile that not only adds strength but also provides an attractive finish to your roof. Rhino gutters and barges are available in a wide range of colours to compliment your building.
[8] Windows
Windows may be purchased wholesale and fitted to all buildings.
Fitting instructions available on request.
[9] Personal Access Door. (PA Door)
Our doors are built to last and come complete with security lock.
[10] Flashings
All door openings and corners are protected with coloured plasticol coated 0.7mm galvanised steel, roll formed flashings to ensure a neat and weather tight finish. The edges of the flashings are double folded to ensure there are no exposed sharp edges.
[11] Doors
Rhino offers a wide range of doors including roller and sectional doors in sizes to fit most applications.

Doors can be fitted into the side or the gable end of standard portal buildings. Please advise your Rhino outlet of any particular door clearance size requirements you may have.

Rhino-absorb

The solution to condensation problems.

Condensation is a problem in roofing leading to the formation of water droplets that run and drip, not only causing annoyance to the occupants but causing all sorts of damage to equipment and stored materials.

In cases where thermal insulation (composite panels) is not cost effective, lining the roof of the building with Rhino-absorb is the solution. When the roof panel is cooled by the outside air, the non woven film bonded to the underside absorbs the condensing water vapour.

The absorbed water is then eliminated by the process of evaporation during the day caused by a combination of the rising roof temperature and an efficient ventilation system.

Rhino-absorb can therefore be used in most well ventilated buildings, factory units with day time activity and in buildings with minimal heating.

Quality is our Strength

Our range of buildings are designed to comply with all the relevant codes as set down by the UK statutory authorities.

Our Rhino Computer Software Package generates plans and specifications to suit the above codes.

The Rhino specification sheet shows all relevant information for your particular building including the size and gauge of all the structural steel being used and the purlin and girt spacings for your particular building.

The Rhino generated Bill of Material with each building ensures the correct quantity of materials are supplied for each job.

Rhino generated elevation drawings and specifications are available with each building for you to submit for building approval.

A large range of standard colours are available so that you can personalise to suit yourself. Choose different colour walls, roof, doors and trim at no extra charge. Most of our range of quality steel buildings feature a galvanised Portal Frame System for durability, strength and simplicity in construction.
